Mandissa joined the personal injury law firm Rouda Feder Tietjen & McGuinn in 2011, and soon gained experience in a wide array of cases, from equestrian accidents to retail space injuries. Before joining the firm, Mandissa received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Yale University. She earned a law degree from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia where she became deeply committed to plaintiffs' advocacy. Mandissa has also worked for litigation firms in Georgia and New York.

Mandissa is a native of Athens, Georgia, and moved to San Francisco in 2010. In her leisure time, Mandissa loves to write short fiction and try new recipes in her kitchen. She is also an avid reader and movie watcher.
