At least 20 passengers suffered injuries when a big-rig collided with an Amtrak train. The crash occurred when the driver of a big-rig failed to yield and hit the train. The impact pushed at least one of the train’s passenger cars off the tracks. At the time of the crash, the train was carrying approximately 169 passengers and four crew members from Oakland to Bakersfield. The California Highway Patrol (CHP) is investigating the accident.
