Motorcyclist Deaths Rise 20 Percent in California

New California Highway Patrol (CHP) data reveals that motorcylist deaths in California rose 20% in 2011. This is the first time in four years that the number of motorcylist deaths in California has risen . According to the data, a high percentage of the collisions occurred at intersections. The CHP cautioned motorists to be more vigilant of bikers. CHP officials also warned motorcyclists to wear proper protective gear.
