California Court of Appeals Rules Young Boy Can Sue PG&E For Severe Injuries When Diseased Tree Falls

The California Court of Appeals recently held that our 12-year-old client who was crushed by a diseased fallen tree at a San Mateo County campground can pursue his lawsuit against PG&E for its negligent inspection of trees near its power lines and the campsite. We are pleased the court did the right thing in rejecting the groundless, technical argument asserted by PG&E in an effort to escape responsibility for our client's catastrophic injuries. At Rouda, Feder, Tietjen, and McGuinn, we take great pride in vigorously pursuing our client's claims against corporations that seek to escape responsibility when their negligence causes harm to others.
