Attorney Bashant’s Background
June Bashant came to Rouda Feder Tietjen & McGuinn after doing defense work in the Bay Area. She did not find the original work fulfilling, and when our firm offered her a position, she took the opportunity to start working with us.
At Rouda Feder Tietjen & McGuinn, Attorney Bashant is passionate about every case she handles and seeks to help make sure that families are not crippled by preventable catastrophic events.
In personal injury law, Bashant says, “The client relationship is both personal and professional.” She takes every case seriously and truly cares about the people she represents.
An Unmistakable Bond
Attorney Bashant forms “an unmistakable bond” with her clients. When asked to choose one case that especially moved her, she couldn’t pick just one.
As a mother of 2, however, Bashant explains that she is drawn toward representing families in wrongful death cases. Her own husband passed away unexpectedly, so she understands the profound loss her clients are facing and offers compassionate counsel every step of the way.
Not only does Attorney Bashant protect her clients and help secure their futures, but she also learns from each family she represents. At the end of a case, Bashant likes to share what she has learned from the client and highlight the legacy their loved one has left behind.
Freedom At a Boutique Firm
Working at a smaller, boutique firm gave Attorney Bashant the freedom to “build a practice from the ground up.” All her colleagues served as mentors and became law partners and members of her own family. Bashant is passionate, and so is the firm she works for.
Bashant is “meticulous with detail, and a bit of a control freak.” She cherishes the freedom to play to her strengths.
Making an Impact
The impact of Bashant’s career is difficult to overstate. She has had dangerous products removed from the market, stood up against gun violence, and held wrongdoers accountable for senseless, preventable deaths. Bashant attributes her success to her clients, along with a strong work ethic and “grit.” Because Bashant cares so deeply about the people she represents, she keeps pushing until she gets what she needs to win.
With Bashant, there is no such thing as a quick settlement, but she strives to work efficiently and obtain justice for all her clients.
