Unlicensed Driver Injures Woman in San Francisco Pedestrian Accident

Our thoughts are with the family and friends of the woman who was struck by a vehicle in a San Francisco pedestrian accident on Sunday, March 16.

San Francisco Police responded to reports of a collision on Ulloa Street near 39th Avenue, in San Francisco’s Sunset District. A vehicle driving east on Ulloa Street hit a pedestrian who was walking in a crosswalk. The victim, a woman in her 60s, was transported to San Francisco General Hospital. She is listed in serious but stable condition. Her name has not been released.

The driver stayed at the scene and was cited for driving without a license and driving without turning the vehicle’s headlamps on. According to Sgt. Eric O’Neal, the driver may have been under the influence of alcohol at the time of the accident.
