Motorcyclist Killed in Half Moon Bay Collision

Our thoughts are with the family and friends of the motorcyclist killed in a collision in Half Moon Bay.

The motorcyclist, whose name has not been released, is a 57-year-old from San Mateo. He was driving his Harley Davidson with a 26 year-old-passenger northbound on Gazos Creek Road when a Ford Mustang headed south turned left in front of him. The motorcycle driver and his passenger were thrown from the motorcycle after broadsiding the right side of the car. They were both airlifted to Stanford Medical Center, where the man was pronounced dead. The passenger, identified as Kimberly Brown of Luling, Texas, remains hospitalized with major injuries.

The driver of the Ford Mustang, 29-year-old Robert Graciano Jr., of Pescadero, received minor injuries and was treated at the scene. Alcohol and drugs do not appear to be a factor. California Highway Patrol seeks additional information from any witness. Anyone with details is urged to contact CHP Officer Eric Wahl at 650-369-6261.
