Partner June P. Bashant was named to The Daily Journal’s Top Women Lawyers of 2026. June’s practice is built around relentless advocacy for people whose lives have been upended by institutional negligence, corporate misconduct, and preventable harm for over 25 years. June’s pioneering work on behalf of her clients has resulted in improved safety standards and consumer protections – leveling the playing field when powerful corporations act unsafely
June shared with The Daily Journal, "My defining moments have come in recognizing that the injured person requires more than just legal advice and recommendations. My clients need to be protected, heard, receive emotional support, and trust in their lawyer."
June’s recent litigations have focused on securing justice for those harmed by medical battery, including a $15 million settlement with UCSF. She is also pioneering litigations against cannabis companies for their marketing to teens, leading to cannabis-induced psychosis, and major technology companies like Uber and Airbnb, which require users to agree to mandatory arbitration. June remarked, “The right to a trial by a jury of your peers is so fundamental to fairness within our justice system.”
June was also named a 2025 Top Plaintiffs Lawyers. Earlier this year, the firm was named a Top Boutique Law Firm by the Daily Journal.
