Our thoughts go out to the family and friends of a young woman killed in a car accident on I-5.
A 20-year-old San Francisco resident, Tiffany Burnoski, died in a car crash along Interstate 5 in Fresno County. At the time of the crash, Burnoski was a passenger in a 1998 Toyota. According to the CHP, the driver of the Toyota, Casey Chow, 20, lost control of the car along the northbound I-5 near Coalinga. The car flipped and rolled over three times. Burnoski was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver and Burnoski’s two younger siblings, Matthew Burnoski and Elizabeth Burnoski, were also in the car. They were hospitalized at Community Regional Medical Center in Fresno for minor injuries. The cause of the crash is under investigation but authorities do not believe that drugs or alcohol were a factor.
Tiffany Burnoski was a Civil Engineering major and American Studies minor at California State University Fullerton.
