A pedestrian sustained life-threatening injuries in a San Francisco Muni accident on May 21, 2014.
According to SFPD, an outbound N-Judah light rail vehicle was crossing 15th street in the Inner Sunset around 2 p.m. when a pedestrian standing on the Judah line platform walked out and contacted the rear of the 2nd car before falling to the ground. The pedestrian, identified as a 29-year-old male, suffered a head laceration and was taken to San Francisco General Hospital.
The incident is still under investigation by SFPD.
According to the San Francisco Examiner, the N-Judah is the most accident-proneMuni line. It carries the most people and requires more service than any other Muni line.
